(Once again, I am replying to another post below with a new topic because the "reply" function is
malfunctioning.)
For my money, (if I was paying out of my pocket) I would choose Phoenix Network over CCTV if you
can't have both. Who wants to watch CCTV news broadcasts? Do you really care which African
country's Foreign Minister is making an official visit to Pudong? Phoenix original entertainment
programming is also much better than any of CCTV's offering. I love "Inside Media" with its clips
of wacky stories from Hunan and other rural Chinese outposts.
